Langkawi is famous for seafood and Malay food, selection from roadside food stalls to the elegant luxury dining restaurant to meet the needs of different people.

Chinese Restaurants in Langkawi
There are a lot Chinese seafood restaurant around Langkawi. Within the Kuah town, the Sari Seafood the Chinese-Style Restoran Langkawi are decent restaurants for dining with average spending of RM 50 per person.

Light House Restaurant is located at the Underwater World, where you can dine on the beach, rest you legs on the white sands, enjoy the beautiful scenery, relax yourself in dining while watching the sunset.

Budget Restaurants in Langkawi
There are many other smaller dining outlet, such as Happy Land, which is very cheap but the seafood varieties is a bit lacking. When dining in these smaller local restaurants, you may want to sit outside the restaurant as it’s more windy and cool, but you might need to prepare mosquito repellent.

Mamak Food Stalls in Langkawi
Along the east coast between Kuah and the port, there are many great food stalls offering Malay, Indian, Chinese and Thai food. These food stalls open from dusk to midnight, make it a nice place to go at night as you can eat by the seaside while enjoying the scenery and chatting.
